Worm gear leads cow lift invention to success

Peter Studer, from Flühli/Entlebuch is a tireless tinkerer. For example, he won Swiss animal innovations prizes (Suisse-Tier-Innovationspreise) in 2003 and 2009, In 2013, the jury considered his invention of a cow lift worthy of an award.

The parts of the mobile cow lift are easy to assemble and fit on the passenger seat of a car. The lift can be used anywhere and is built up over the cow. What is extremely practical: the cow may be raised by means of a worm gear and the power of a battery operated drill.
